Hughes said, ‘I am honoured and proud to have been offered the post of Manager of Bow Street FC. Barry will be a hard act to follow, and I was proud to have worked closely with him over the last few seasons. We have a really good setup here, good squad of players and I looking forward immensely to leading the club in to the new Tier 3 league. It will be a big challenge, and will mean a lot of hard work for us all. But it is a challenge I am relishing.’
Bow Street FC Chairman stated, ‘I am delighted that Llyr has accepted the post of Manager. As far as we were concerned, he was the obvious and unanimous choice to take the club in to the new FAW Tier 3 league which is a new and exciting challenge for this club. Llyr has a huge wealth of experience of playing at a high level, and also managerial experience. He is well respected by all within the club, and we are very confident that this will be a very successful appointment.
